ECMC College Resource Night
RLHS is hosting an ECMC College Night on Thursday, October 30th for juniors, seniors and their families in the large gym.
This event is a way for students and their families to learn about going to college, including understanding why college is important, choosing the right college, paying for college, searching for scholarships and avoiding scholarship scams.

Rio Linda High School Families,
Parent participation is very important to the success of our school. Please look into joining the parent group KORT (Knights of the Round Table), Boosters Clubs, and other committees. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month in the RLHS Library.

TRUSD Student Board Members
Peer elected Student Board Members for the 2014-15 school year were presented to the Twin Rivers Unified School District Board of Trustees. By action of the Board of Trustees, Student Board Members were approved to begin their term on the Board as representatives of Twin Rivers’ students. Student Board Members were administered an oath of office. Two of the four Student Board Members will be designated to attend each regular Board meeting from October 7, 2014, through June 24, 2014.
RLHS students Caleb Druckhammer and Geneva Speakman were present at last Tuesday’s meeting.
RLHS Hosts College Fair
RLHS hosted a College Fair for nearly 600 seniors in the Twin Rivers Unified School District. The students had an opportunity to meet with representatives from public and private colleges throughout California.
