Football Banquet
The 2011 Football Awards Dinner is this Wednesday, December 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria.
All three teams, Freshmen, JV, and Varsity will be honored.
RLHS Players are Honored
Congratulations to the RLHS varsity football team for a great year!
The Knights finished 7 – 4, and 3 – 2 in the CVC. Last year the Knights were 3 – 7, and 0 – 5 in the CVC. Rio Linda started the year by winning the Sac-Joaquin Strength Competition at Foothill High School in May. The Knights next won their bracket at Oregon Football Camp in June. In July, Rio Linda won the American River College Passing Tournament.
Congratulations to freshman football player Seth McCoy. He won first place in the Northern California Punt, Pass and Kick competition at Candlestick Park on December 4th. The competition was held at half-time of the 49ers Rams game.
And a special congratulations to Luis Medrano, #77 (Co-Captain Varsity) for his invitation to play in the Holiday Classic. This is quite an honor and Luis will make RLHS proud! The game will be played on December 23rd at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California.
