Seniors- Your Jostens graduation products wil be delivered today during lunch. You can also purchase your caps and gowns.
Juniors- Come by and look at the class rings and other items available, if you order a class ring you will get a free cap and gown- Look for the Jostens table by the castle!!
Attention Juniors. Junior Prom is this Friday so hurry in and buy your tickets in the Student Center before school, during lunch, and after school. Tickets are $50 for single and $80 for couples. If you bring in 5 canned goods, you’ll receive $5 off your ticket price. Couples can earn up to $10 off by bringing in 10 canned goods. Hurry in this week to buy your tickets!”
Good Morning Dancers let’s get giggen!! Say what, Say what! Let’s get giggen!! If you are a dancer and you want to share your talent please come by room J-4 and sign up for the dance contest. The contest is Monday March 17th at 2:30! The winners of the contest will get to perform during open house! Tryouts are Monday March 17th at 2:30 in the band room. Come by room J-4 and sign up!!
All athletes on contract need to check in with Miss Graf tomorrow, March 13 since there is no school on Friday. Student athletes may come by D-5 at lunch or after school but NOT during class time.
The GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) will meet today during lunch in Room S-5. Everyone is welcome!
Now that the rain has stopped, all guys interested in playing tennis this is the last week to signup for the team. We are taking player who have never played tennis in their life and providing them an opportunity to learn a life time sport. So, if you want to learn a sport you can play forever come on out for the guy’s tennis team. Come by room J-4 and speak to Coach Kaer if you need forms or have any questions.
Friday Night Live will be meeting today during lunch in room S-9. Karen will be here with a fun activity, so please come over quickly!
Come one, come all. The Spring Concert is upon us. This Thursday, March 13th, at 7pm in the cafeteria, the music department will have the symphonic band, our newly formed jazz band, concert choir, and Rio NYN performing selections for your listening pleasure. A $2 donation will be taken at the door. The Music Boosters will be selling Worlds Finest Chocolates and waters during the performance. Come out and have a great time.
During the February break, 42 Rio Linda High JROTC Cadets completed the Junior Cadet Leadership Camp. Each experienced a leadership reaction course, marksmanship, obstacle course, land navigation, one-rope bridge, and an arduous 6.5 mile foot march. Their outstanding performance and leadership abilities reflect favorably on our cadets, our school JROTC program, and the Twin Rivers District. Congratulations cadets and JROTC Teachers!
